rescue requirements
Just a heads up: our adoption fees are firm. We don’t haggle, and we don’t discount lives. These fees cover the vet visits, deworming, flea treatments, and training your pet has already received—and they make it possible for us to keep rescuing the next animal in need.
An approved adoption application is required before any puppy leaves our care. This process helps us ensure each puppy is going to a safe, loving, and responsible home. It’s not just paperwork—it’s our way of protecting the animals and setting them (and you!) up for success.
All adopters are required to sign a waiver agreeing to have their new dog or cat spayed or neutered by the appropriate age. This is a vital part of responsible pet ownership and helps us reduce the cycle of unwanted litters. By signing, you’re committing to giving your pet a healthier life and helping us save even more animals.
Adopters must be at least 21 (or 18 if you’re comfortable) to adopt.
Required if the adopter rents (written proof or landlord contact).
Adopters must agree never to declaw.
Adopters must agree to return the animal to your rescue if they can’t keep it.
Animals must leave in a proper crate or on a secure leash/harness (no exceptions).
Adopters agree to check-ins (photos/updates, or a call at certain milestones).
Especially for puppies/dogs, adopters commit to positive reinforcement training methods (no harsh methods, prong/e-collars, etc. if that’s your stance).
Animals must live primarily inside as family members.
Adopters must be willing to travel to you to adopt (no shipping).
